Traditional Shaving

There are great benefits to traditional shaving. Traditional shaving is wet shaving, unlike using electric razors, or spreading a chemical based canned shaving cream over the face and then taking a disposable razor to it.
Traditional shaving can improve skin health. It puts moisture back into the skin by using shaving soaps, creams, and water. This leaves a less dry feel and touch when shaving is finished. There is also less skin irritation in using the traditional shaving methods.

The shaving soaps help in getting a closer shave. The soap provides a slippery lather for a smoother process of pulling the razor across the face. Shaving soaps are normally free of harsh chemicals that can harm the skin. Traditional shaving creams provide a richer lather as well, and may be easier and quicker to use.

Shaving brushes are used to spread the lather on the face. They soften the hair and lift it, allowing for less strokes of the razor.
