The Day the Supermarket Opened In Our Small Town

My town did not have a single supermarket. What we had were shops which specialized in particular items like textiles, foot wears, bakery, grocery etc. We had heard of supermarkets and we had seen them in movies. Then came the supermarket to our town. What a great day it was. All of us were there for the opening. As I entered the first thing I noticed was the absence of people to pick things for you. I had a trolley with castors which was big enough to put my two small sons in! I walked around and was thinking of how to carry all these items when I saw a woman pushing a trolley full of things. I too got a trolley and started pulling packets from the shelves and putting them in the trolley. And the number of items on display was simply stupendous. I tell you even Solomon in his time never had this wealth or this variety. What a fantastic experience it was!
