Referring to the Instruction Manual for Plantronics Headset

I am not well-acquainted with technical stuffs and modern gadgets. But my husband bought me a cell phone recently as a present for our wedding anniversary. He told me that I should start becoming familiar with these devices as these are already considered as a necessity these days. There were times when he was worrying about me for he can hardly get in touch with me when I am out. With this device, he feels more comfortable knowing that he can always contact me in case he wants to know about my whereabouts and who I am with. At this point, I already know how to send and compose text messages. I am now aware about placing a call and receiving one, as well. However, I think I still need to read the instruction manual for plantronics headset that my husband has given me along with the cell phone. I can’t hear anything when I put it on the device. I do not know if I am doing it the wrong way or it’s the headset that has a problem.
