What would we do without internet is a question many people want to not answer for it would take them a long time answering this. People who have made internet their friend wonder what they would have done without it. A big number can now work from the comfort of their homes, thanks to internet. It is a big plus for companies for now they can go about their work by outsourcing services from people who are qualified but are not their staff members. If you have a great idea in mind and you are sure that it will help you so much, now is the time to get that idea into working. We waste so much time when we are supposed to be doing important stuff and in the end, they do not work, that is why we are always failing in almost all the things that we do. As business person for instance in need of internet marketing, you should not waste any time learning how to increase your search engine ranking yet you are not the one who will be doing it. Today, we are having a get together at home with family and a few close friends. That is because we are celebrating the birthdays of some of our most beloved people such as Aunt Lita, sister Pauline, cousins Mae and Ferdinand and a good friend, Jing...altogether in one happy celebration. Early in the morning, the mood is already festive. Plenty of food is served, good music is all over the place and a lot of laughter, too. I guess it is safe to say that we are a family who enjoys partying together. As a matter of fact, we don't need special occasions to get together like this. But I must admit that this one is really special. I guess that's because the celebrants we have now are all well loved. It's good to see that everyone is enjoying the party, except for mom. Mom is still waiting for Bob to arrive. He promised to come as soon as he finished his task to build web traffic. Mom has called him on his phone several times and knowing mom, she won't stop unless Bob arrives. |

Having designed a number of websites professionally, I have often been tasked with working on SEO for them, and many people even ask me for email marketing training. In regards to SEO, having read many books and looked at many 'how-to' pages on the subject I can say that although most people's first idea would be to omptimize their website for google searches, it isn't necessarily the most productive. Consider the fact that everyone is trying to bump themselves in the google rankings with a few choice phrases. What is actually needed (especially for small businesses on a budget) is a more targeted aproach to marketing. Finding niche groups and websites and actively pursuing trade through them will reep far more results than trying to plan every single facet of a website to please google. Infact, if a website is linked through from other sites it wil rise higher in the google search rankings anyway. Pursuing extra hits through a social networking site like Reddit or Digg will produce far more hits than if you simply stick your website on google. Marketing is a dynamic enterprise, the web is a dynamic place. An energetic approach is completely necessary to promote yourself. |

Game addiction is on the rise in the current generation and it is sad to say that parents play a big role in the gaming addiction of their children. Children are not easy people to deal with especially if you do not understand them. If you are not strict with them, then they are going to be really hard to raise. Parents love their kids and they give their everything that their children ask for. They have even come to realize that their kids calm down when they get what they want. They will stop yelling when they are given what they want. The latest obsession that kids have is the Nintendo wii games. It is even worse that there are those games that represent their favorite sport games. They even know how to connect ds to wireless router. This is because they know that they can get updates online. The only way to curb this addiction is by regulating how long the kids play those games. They can instill parental controls to regulate their kids access to the internet. |

Facebook is great - for some things. I am by nature nosy, so I like getting status updates of what my friends are up to. Sometimes they post links to interesting articles, or blogs. It is a quick and easy way to keep in contact with friends. I can make my profile look attractive using some Facebook banners services. It is so easy to lose touch with people, but when they post something interesting, that could spark a discussion, and all of a sudden, you're in touch with them again. I never need those reminders for my close friends, but for friendly acquaintances, it is nice. But then there are the people who play FarmVille. And post every single thing they do. And send millions of invites to silly online games. That aspect, I can really do without. Luckily - Facebook has a handy "hide" feature to help with that. Another not so great trait of Facebook is their privacy policy that keeps changing. I don't want the whole world to know that I am spending the weekend away - I trust my friends not to rob my house while I'm gone, but I certainly don't trust random strangers who happen to be in my network. I have set up the privacy controls in such a way that it won't be an issue - but there are plenty of Facebook users that aren't all that computer-savvy, like my mom, for example, who didn't realize people could email her on Facebook until a year after she started the account! Like most things, Facebook can be a fun diversion, as long as you protect yourself - both from privacy issues, and Farmville requests. |

I have been using the internet for so many years. This has made me more familiar with how to find the information that i am usually looking for. I use the internet to do many of my school assignments because i can have information. I usually use journals and various websites. How i have been able to come to the level of going to particular websites and journals is through search engine optimization. This is where the sites that i visit mostly are usually listed on the favorites section of the computer. Also depending on the information one is looking for the search results lead someone to some particular sites where they are most likely to find the information that they are looking for. all this makes using the internet an experience and a learning opportunity. Search engine optimization is a way of dealing with information overload and sieving out what is necessary and what is not. People should learn to use this when doing their searches on the internet, It makes life easier around the internet |

My room mate is a very clean person. She does not like seeing clutter round the apartment and she will clear it up because it would intensely bother her in such a way that she will not be able to sit still until she gets rid of the clatter. The only reason why we do not fight because I am not a neat freak as she is, is because I am her best friend and we do not share a room. She occasionally cleans my room when she sees that it has become messy. When she goes to her boy friends place, she also cleans the place up before she can settle down. She heard about the dyson dc25 vacuum cleaner and she told me about it. So we chipped in money and she got it. From the instruction manual for dyson dc25, it is supposed to be one of the best vacuums in the market. The reason why she got it was because it could clean both the carpet and the wooden floor. |

As a moderator myself for a web design directory, I know how difficult it must be to control all these members. I am not well-acquainted with technical stuffs and modern gadgets. But my husband bought me a cell phone recently as a present for our wedding anniversary. He told me that I should start becoming familiar with these devices as these are already considered as a necessity these days. There were times when he was worrying about me for he can hardly get in touch with me when I am out. With this device, he feels more comfortable knowing that he can always contact me in case he wants to know about my whereabouts and who I am with. At this point, I already know how to send and compose text messages. I am now aware about placing a call and receiving one, as well. However, I think I still need to read the instruction manual for plantronics headset that my husband has given me along with the cell phone. I can’t hear anything when I put it on the device. I do not know if I am doing it the wrong way or it’s the headset that has a problem. |
