When my mother retired, she had a lot of time in her hands time she did not know how to spend yet. During her working days, she was a workaholic and she rarely took her off days, and she was forced to, she used that time to work one her other projects related to work that consumed her time well. So when she retired and she had nothing to do, she resulted in to spending her time in the internet and that is when she came across eBay. She gave it a try by selling a few of her old things and she was impressed by how much money she got. So she made it a habit and started selling our old toys which were considered to me collectibles at this time. Her eBay business was picking up and that is when someone decided to hack in to her ebay account and started messing with her. My mum has never tolerated pranksters so she did not take this lightly. She searched for ebay headquarters phone number and when she got it she gave them an earful about the person who had gotten access to her account and she wanted that nonsense to be put to a stop and she threatened to sue them for not protecting its customers. She was told to change her account in order to prevent whoever who had access it to stop meddling with her business she did and at the same time hired a computer specialist to trace the culprit.
