There are a lot of advantages of social networks for example facebook. Every bright side has its downfalls and facebook has a couple of short comings. I experienced this first hand when I decided to put my facebook number uk , that was where I made a mistake. By putting my number on the facebook network I was exposing myself to a lot of problems. At that time I was dating a very insecure girl and every chance she got she pounced on my phone to read my text messages and also see who had called me. So since I had put my number in facebook, it became my facebook number uk because I live in the uk. Girls I had met in facebook used to call and send me flirtatious messages, which I used to ignore. My girlfriend at that time would find them and throw temper tantrums. She would tell me just because I can put my number in facebook does not mean that I should put it. She even said that I wanted them to call me and that was not true all I did was just use a facebook feature that seemed harmless at the time but I was wrong. What facebook does is that it destroys relationships because of nurturing relationships with actual people, people have the tendency of concentrating on friendships they make online instead of the ones that actually have tangible proof of existence.
