Coming to the uk to study soon and need some help

I am going to be very soon arriving in the uk to start studying at college. I have very little money and am aware that i will need to find some way of funding my stay here. I have heard that i could try and apply for some benefits but i am not sure if i would entitled. The main one being some sort of full time student unemployment benefits i suppose because i will be unemployed and also a full time student. If i cant get help with this then maybe some help with my housing costs because i am going to be living in rented accommodation and it isn't cheap! The course i am doing is going to last 2 years so this will be continued support i require and not really just a one off payment. In my own country you can easily get money paid if you are a student who doesn't work due to college or uni commitments. I need to really get some forms sent off because if i don't i am going to run out of time!
